It’s supposed to be the happiest day of one’s life — but for this 21-year-old, it ended in handcuffs in the back of a police car, accused of taking part in a sham marriage.

With her white wedding gown, veil and pearl necklace, she looked every inch a traditional bride — until police swooped, arresting her and the Nigerian groom for trying to outsmart the UK’s strict immigration laws.

The unnamed woman was led away and questioned on suspicion of helping an illegal immigrant to enter Britain while her 37-year-old husband was taken into custody, the UK’s Daily Mail reports.
