A bride was forced to cancel her wedding day – after her fiancé and his best man were both arrested during a drunken stag night in Lincoln. Michael fricker and the bridegroom went for a stag party and landed themselves into trouble. The unnamed bridegroom and fricker got arrested and put in to jail until monday morning, when they showed up in court at 11:30am, the bridegroom had missed his wedding by half an hour.

I wander if they have reschedualed the wedding or has the bride thought better not?

Fed up with wedding lists, well there is nothing better than cash. An israeli company has invented a atm machine that can be installed in wedding halls, and party goers can stick in their credit cards into the atm machine and ‘donate’ money to the couples wedding (gift). There will be a charge for it, but the benefit is, that no cash hanging around, in the hall and payment goes directly into the couples wedding account, which can be withdrawn the next day.

Dovi Neuwirth the ceo of the company that created the wedding atm machine said: “It is a common fact that using credit cards is much more convenient than using cheques or cash, actually it’s the preferred method of payment today so when a guest comes to the event and uses the Check-Out Kiosk he can even divide the payments.”

A company in Harrogate has designed a wedding gown made out of old white curtains. The total cost of the wedding dress was £6.75. The £6.75 dress was designed as an entry for the Yorkshire Brides designer of the year awards, where it narrowly missed winning the eco-recycling category. Of course labour hours werent factored when making the dress. The wedding dress will be auctioned in order to raise money for shelter housing. If you would like to bid email tracy_evans@shelter.org.uk before next wednesday when the official auction starts

A typical custom made wedding gown/dress costs about £1500 in the uk to make. An off the shelf one can cost as little at £300, so whu have a cutom wedding gown made?

If you are worried someone will notice that you are wearing the same one as someone else, think again, thats the last thing people notice. I have seen wedding gowns on ebay, cutom made in china for about $200, the problem with getting a custom wedding gown online is that you arent there to get fitted correctly. So it may be cheap, but you may need a dress maker to then fix and alter the wedding gown to fit you correctly.

If you pick up an off the shelf wedding gown and it fits you well, go in to your local textile shop and just buy a bit of silky cream material and add it to the sleeve and presto, it wont look like anything you have seen before. If you are really feeling adventurous add some fake diamonds to the neck piece. The ebst way to pick up fake diamonds or cz’s is just buy a piece of cheap jewellery undo the string and thread it into your dress. You can make your wedding gown, look as nice as any selebs wedding gowns, by simple addittions.

when Katie Holmes got married to tom cruise giorgio armani was recruited to make her wedding gown. As always with celebs I would imagine giorgio armani gave it free of charge, because that would be the best sort of advertising possible. Prob the cheapest advertising stunt

Nicole Kidman got married in June 2006 to keith urban in Sydney, Australia. Apparently the wedding gown that nicole kidman cost about $a25,000 to make. I think she got the wedding dress free by the designer Nicolas Ghesquiere
